In loving memory of Donnell M. Phelps, I've dedicated my home page to honor his story, legacy, and dreams.   Donnell was a friend to many, a leader in his community, and an all-around nice guy. To me... he is my little brother whom I grew up with and loved dearly. Donnell’s dreams were limitless but were all linked to being successful in order to help his parents as well as others.   With limited resources and growing up in the unlikeliness of places, he managed to keep his faith strong in God and mind positive.

 

Born to Peggy A. Walters & Donald E. Phelps, Donnell grew up in the small town of Marshallville GA. Eager to face the world with enthusiasm and his potential; Donnell participated in as many positive activities as he could. From recreational sports, praise teams at church, FFA, basketball, and tennis; he proved to be a well-rounded outgoing individual. 

 

In many of his travels, Donnell shinned with his personality and spread joy amongst his friends and even complete strangers. He was never afraid to be himself. I recall him telling me his story of playing the piano for a small crowd on one of his many FFA trips. It was delight to hear him tell his story.
